Dear St Clare's Community,

National Reconciliation Week is celebrated across Australia from May 27th to June 3rd. National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. Thank you to Mrs Chappel for creating prayer spaces that acknowledge and reflect on this very important time.

It has been 12 months since I was lucky enough to be able to join the St. Clare’s community. I do look back on the past year with a huge amount of gratitude and thanks. I am particularly thankful for the staff of St. Clare’s, who consistently work extremely over and above to provide the best possible opportunities for our students. We are also blessed to have amazing students that make it all worthwhile, along with the support parents show to their children and to St. Clare’s is what makes our school special.

It was wonderful to see the sea of maroon yesterday to celebrate Queensland Day. This week continues with some more experiences for students with ‘Ghana Beat My Drums’ performance and a Touch Rugby Development officer in for a visit. Mrs Moloney is taking students up to Cairns to participate in the Reader’s Cup. Good Luck to Lexie, Sophie, Amber and Evie - we hope you all have a great day!
