Welcome back to Term 3! We will engage in many religious celebrations over this term, beginning with Catholic Education Week in Week 3. Our school will celebrate this occasion with a liturgy for Prep to Year 3 on Wednesday July 27 at 9am at St Clare’s Church (families are welcome to join us). Year 4 to 6 students will travel to Innisfail for the day to attend a mass with other Catholic schools in the southern deanery and then enjoy time either participating in activities at Warrina Lakes or a guided tour of Good Counsel College. Please ensure you have completed the Parent Slip sent out last week so that your child is able to attend. 

Our St Clare’s families have chosen a Catholic education for their children and this is the perfect time to be thankful for the opportunity we have given our children to develop into caring people with a focus on the humanitarian and justice needs around our community and world. Catholic education strives to make a difference in the lives of those in our schools and in the wider community by challenging young people to live out the message of Jesus and to reach their full potential as compassionate, contributing, life-giving members of society. This year’s theme is ‘Faith, Hope and Love’, which you will see on posters around our school (and you will also notice a very familiar face on many of them!)
