CHILDRENS BOOK WEEK 2022

Last week the Children’s Book Council
of Australia announced this year’s winners
in the following categories from outstanding
shortlisted books for 2022.

 Early Childhood Book of the Year:
Jetty Jumping   Author: Andrea Rowe

Younger Readers Book of the Year:
A Glasshouse of Stars   Author: Shirley Marr

 Picture Book of the Year:
Iceberg  Author:  Clair Saxby

Eve Pownall Information Book of the Year:
Still Alive   Author: Safdar Ahmed

Crichton Award for New Illustrators:
The Boy who tried to Shrink His Name   Author:  Michelle Pereira

 All are welcome to visit the library and view the winning
titles and many other titles which were announced as honours and
Shortlisted books of the year.
