Farm safety calendar competition now open!

Queensland primary school students are invited to submit drawings to illustrate a farm safety message and help promote the importance of farm safety to young Queenslanders and families in rural areas.

Entries close Friday 23 June 2023.

Twelve winning drawings will be published in 30,000 copies of the free 2024 Farm safety calendar. The winners will also receive a $250 gift card and $500 for their school.

Winners will be announced in October 2023.

How to enter

Students are encouraged to draw and colour a picture to illustrate one of these farm safety messages:

• electrical safety
• animal safety
• tractor and machinery safety
• quad bike safety
• water safety
• health and wellbeing.
