Peninsula Rugby Union Championships
Saxon Solien recently travelled to Cairns as part of the Cassowary Coast Rugby Union team to play at the Peninsula Championships. Rugby Union is a new sport for Saxon and in the few weeks leading up to the championships, Saxon learnt the structure and rules of the game. Saxon played exceptionally well at the championships and was selected as a shadow for the Peninsula Team. Congratulations on this amazing achievement Saxon.
Peninsula Cross Country Championships
Last Tuesday a very talented team of students travelled to Yungaburra to race against the best runners in Far North Queensland at the Peninsula Cross Country Championships. Congratulations to Emily Quabba, Maisy Chappel, Indy Grimaz, Logan Jesse, Eden Emmi, Saxon Solien, Heath Driemel, Jonah Wilcox, Layla Morris and Kade Murphy. Being selected to make it to this level is an outstanding achievement and we are very proud of you.
Layla Morris ran her race in an incredible time leading the pack in her age group. Congratulations to Layla on her win and selection in the Peninsula team. This is an exceptional achievement and we wish you all the best for your race at the State Championships in Hervey Bay in July.










Touch Football Queensland State Championships

Last week Laine Spencer travelled to Cairns to compete at the State Titles for Touch Football as part of the Peninsula Team. This is Laine's second year being selected to compete at this level and he was excited to take on some of the teams again and improve on their results from last year. Laine played exceptionally well scoring a total of three tries throughout the carnival. Congratulations on this incredible achievement Laine. We are very proud of you.
