Faith Knowledge Community Respect

This weekend we will celebrate Fathers’ Day with mass on Saturday night. All are welcome to join us for this event to acknowledge the important role that the fathers, father figures and men play in our lives.

National Child Protection Week occurs next week and the 2023 theme is ‘Every child in every community needs a fair go. Where we start matters.’ This message captures the essence of National Child Protection Week which aims to promote a safe and supported life for every child, now and into the future. At St Clare’s, we will participate in the World’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson (run by the Morcombe Foundation) and will have our local Adopt a Cop, Kirstel, come in to provide information on Cyber Safety to our Prep to Year 4 children. She will then return again in Term 4 to run an informative session with our Year 5 and 6 children. A reminder that if you have any concerns about the safety of your child, or another child, you may contact our school’s Protection Officers (Karran Burzacott and Sharon Chappel). For more information on how our schools are keeping kids safe, Safeguarding Children can provide further details.
