Eliza Smith, Eve Zonta and Layla Jenkins have just returned from representing the Peninsula Region at the State Touch Football Championships at Longreach last week.  The girls played fantastic touch football and their team did very well to place 6^th against tough competition from all the regions in Queensland.  Congratulations girls!

State Track & Field Championships

Jackson Solien and Layla Jenkins will represent the Peninsula Region at the State Track & Field Championships at Brisbane in Week 5 on 15^th & 16^th August.  Jackson will compete in the Shot Put and Discus.  Layla will compete in the 1500m track run.  We wish them both the best of luck!

Cassowary Coast South Cricket Trials

George McAvoy, Bailey Duiker, Riley Berge and Chace Crema are attending a series of cricket trials for the Cassowary Coast Southern Cricket team which will go on to play against the Cassowary Coast Northern Cricket team at Kurrimine on Friday 23^rd August.  Good luck boys!

Brisbane International School’s Challenge Tennis

St. Clare’s will be represented by a Green-Ball team of 4, Meg Chappel, Jarrod Vipiana, Riley Berge and Chace Crema on Thursday 22^nd August at the Cairns International Tennis Centre.  Our Orange-Ball team, Aiden Vipiana, Jackson Solien, Cooper Sichter and Case Durighello compete at the same venue on Friday 23^rd August.  Good luck to our tennis teams!
