Another exciting week of sports has unfolded at St. Clare’s! Our dedicated students have been honing their ball games and athletics skills in preparation for the upcoming Athletics Carnival, scheduled for the second last week of this term.
Despite the wet and muddy conditions at Warrina Lakes during the Cassowary Coast Cross Country Trials on Tuesday, two outstanding athletes emerged victorious: Madison and Layla secured 1st place in their respective age groups. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them!
But the excitement doesn’t end there. Madison and Layla will proudly represent St. Clare’s at the upcoming Peninsula Cross Country event, and will be joined by other qualifiers: Heath, Jonah, Saxon and Nina. Their determination and hard work exemplify the spirit of our school community.
Well done to Kade and Layla for making the Touch Football Peninsula team. Also to Eddie as shadow.
Next week, eight of our talented students will proudly represent St. Clare’s at the highly anticipated Soccer Gala Day. The event will take place at Castor Park in Mourilyan on Friday next week, where our young athletes will showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the soccer field. Billy Johnston, Oliver, Jaxson, Kace, Henry, Warrick, Jaxon and Lincoln – You’ve got this!
