Welcome back, Fr Joby! You would be aware that the 2024 Sacramental Program has been underway for some weeks now. At mass last Sunday, this wonderful group of children completed their final step in this sacramental journey by receiving their First Eucharist and Confirmation. Making this occasion even more special, this happened to coincide with Pentecost Sunday, when we celebrate the birth of the church with the first known arrival of the Holy Spirit. Thank you to this group of dedicated children, and their supportive families, you were a pleasure to work with.

As a part of the Tully 100 celebrations, St Clare’s will be joining the Street Parade on Saturday June 8. We plan to participate as a combined parish and school community and will be led by a decorated float. We would love to see our students (past and present) join us in this parade and invite the children to come along in their school uniform, where they can either walk or ride a bicycle or scooter (with a helmet on). We would encourage students bringing bicycles or scooters to decorate them as well.  We understand that many of our children have already committed to walk with floats for other organisations (which is just as wonderful!) or have sporting commitments, but if your child would like to walk with St Clare’s, please complete the Parent Slip email which has been sent out.
