Lids 4 Kids 

Our P & F are going to coordinate the Lids 4 Kids collection for St Clare’s School. Classes will soon be given collection containers and students will be educated on what lids can be collected for this worthy cause.

This project was founded by Tim Miller, an amazing Dad from Canberra who realised Lids (bottle caps) were going to landfill so he did some internet research and discovered Envision. Envision is an Australian Not-for-Profit group in Victoria that trains disadvantaged people to use 3D printers to make mobility aids for children who are amputees. Fete Update No.7

FETE WEEK IS HERE: After weeks of planning and dance practice the fete is only 4 sleeps away. We have been very lucky to have been supported by fabulous parents, staff, local and away businesses to hopefully be able to put on an awesome night of fun, dancing, yummy food and plenty of rides.

Just a few reminders before the big event:

RAFFLE TICKETS: ALL raffle tickets to be in by Friday morning at the latest to the office.

SILENT AUCTION: A list of all 25 items went home on Friday, if you would like to bid on one or more of the awesome packages please fill in the slips and return before, or on the night of the fete.

CAKE STALL: We need donations of cakes, slices and or biscuits, these can be dropped off all day on Friday to the tuckshop (it will be open), or Saturday morning from 8am. As previously stated feel free to price your items or we can do it for you, BUT PLEASE REMEMBER TO LABEL WHAT THE SLICE, CAKE OR BISCUITS ARE. If you would like trays please let me know on 0418 158 872 and I can send them home with your child or meet you at the tuckshop to give them to you.

SUCCULENT STALL: All plants to be dropped off Saturday morning.

ADOPT A PET: If you have any stuffed toys in good condition that need a new home you can still drop these off this week up to the office in the bucket provided.

FETE RIDES: Don’t forget you can still purchase ride tickets, $35 for 4 hours of unlimited rides

FETE SETUP: Friday from 3.30pm we need as many dads as possible to help setup. We setup up tables, chairs, gazabo’s, BBQ’S etc. Many hands make light work. On Saturday morning we will finish setting up. Co ordinators of stalls will require help to decorate and or put finishing touches on stalls so please speak to your stall co ordinator to see when and how you can help.

THE 2019 ST CLARES FETE “LET’S GET PHYSICAL” WILL COMMENCE WITH THE CHILDREN’S PERFORMANCES AT 5PM. STALLS WILL OPEN AT 6PM.  BE SURE TO TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME ALONG.
