Faith Knowledge Community Respect

Our Sacramental Program begins this week. If you have registered your child for this year’s program, an email was sent out earlier this week with reminders on what children will need to bring to the first session. Please keep these children in your prayers as they commence the next stage of their sacramental journey.

Conversation About Catholics

Last week, Anne McLean and Sr Alice Sullivan visited St Clare’s to discuss a program that they have developed called Conversations About Catholics. The program centres around supporting families in our parish to gain a better understanding of what being Catholic entails. It offers education around Catholic practices and rituals to help families feel more comfortable in participating in the religious life of the school and parish. Pope Leo XIV

Catholics around the world watched with much anticipation as our new Pope, Leo XIV, was elected last week. Pope Leo is an Augustinian Pope, and the first to be elected from North America. We look forward to him continuing the good work of his predecessor Pope Franicis.
