World Mission Month
October marks World Mission month where Catholic churches around the world unite in prayer, action and fundraising. Their theme this year is ‘Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples.’ Thank you to our students Madison Clifford, Hope Thackeray, Tarique Noonan and Jasten Hutchesson who were ambassadors for our parish at last weekend’s masses where they shared stories from Zambia. As a school, we will be supporting World Mission Month by donating the proceeds from Mini Fete on Friday to Catholic Mission.
Melbourne Cup Hat Parade
To celebrate the race that stops a nation, we invite children to decorate and wear a hat/fascinator for our Melbourne Cup Hat Parade. Families are welcome to come along to the hall at 8.45 to see our wonderful creations! As the Prep class has swimming at 9am on this day, they will parade their hats and then move off to the pool straight after.
