Cricket Cup

On Friday, 2 teams of eager cricket players participated in the Southern Zone Cricket Cup. The students had a great day playing against other local schools in the area and came away as the leaders in each pool, resulting in a play off between our 2 teams in the Grand Final. Thank you to Trish Spry from Cricket Queensland who visited us last term to help develop our cricket skills, and to Jake Robertson from Tully Cricket for enabling and supporting Trish’s sessions at our school.

Billy Slater League Tag

On Friday November 14, Year 5 and 6 students are invited to participate in the League Tag Carnival which will be held at Callendar Park in Innisfail. Thank you to Peri Creamer and Mr Hughes who will be spending lunch times preparing the players for this event.

Swimming Carnival

Our Water Safety Program began last week and will continue for another 4 weeks. The St Clare’s Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday November 27 at Tully Pool. If you know that your child will be absent for the carnival or have any concerns in the lead up to the event, please contact either Sharon Chappel or Cherie Jenkins.
