TERM 2 - HEALTH CARE CARD / SCHOOL FEES
TERM 2 - TUITION FEES
Dear Parents and Carers,
Update on school responses to the COVID-19 pandemic
Our Executive Director, Bill Dixon, has communicated information regarding tuition fees via email and on social media. School fees will not be sent until Week 4 of this term and there will be some adjustments for families within these fees for this term due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
A reminder that School Fees are made up of Tuition and Levies (Capital, P & F, Activities, Technology and Resources).
The Tuition part of school fees is what is referred to with regards to concessions. Any families with eligible government health concession cards (HCC) will receive an entitled 100% discount on the tuition part of fees. Those who now have the two new concession cards – Job Seeker Payment (JSP) and Farm Household Allowance (FH) will also be eligible for the 100% concession on the tuition part of fees. Please bring your new or updated cards to the office before this Friday May 1st so that we can process the changes. For those who have yet to receive their cards, we will accept as proof the digital version from the MyGov app or a printed confirmation page from Centrelink.
Families without a concession card but who are experiencing financial stress are encouraged to contact their principal to discuss fee concessions. These conversations would be strictly confidential and respectful.
With regards to School Levies, we have reviewed our planned activities for term two and due to a few planned activities being cancelled we will be not be charging the Activity levy of $20 per student for Term Two. This will be taken off all family accounts.
