Due to the delayed start of Term 1, the Cassowary Coast District Swimming Carnival scheduled for the 11th of February has been cancelled. If your child meets the Peninsula Qualifying time standards with times from a recent swim meet, we are able to enter paper nominations.  Please contact Kate Mason by phone or email - kmason2@cns.catholic.edu.au, to obtain all of the information.

Upcoming carnival - Southern Zone Rugby League & Netball Carnival - Friday the 25th of February. All students in years 4, 5 & 6 will be attending.

As part of our preparation for the upcoming Rugby League and Netball Carnival, all students in years 4, 5 and 6 will have development officers attending the school during their HPE lessons for the first three weeks of school this term. Students will be split into their preferred sport during these lessons to attend specialised training sessions with a Rugby League Development Officer or a Netball Development Officer. The sport that they attend for these sessions will be the sport that they will participate in at the upcoming carnival. Students in years 4, 5 and 6 will need to wear their sports uniform on Wednesdays for these weeks (Wednesday 9th, 16th and 23rd of February).
