BOOK WEEK
Book week will be celebrated nationally from the 17th to 23rd of August, 2019. This annual event highlights the importance of reading, and draws on the joy of stories and creativity of Australian books. The theme for Book Week this year is ‘Reading is my Secret Power’. Our students will enjoy participating in a range of exciting activities in the school library leading up to Book Week that focus on a great selection of Australian books. Parents, feel free to drop into the library to look at our new books, and see what all of the fuss is about.
St Clare's will be celebrating Book Week with a Character Dress Up Parade on Tuesday 20th of August at 9:00am. Students are asked to come dressed as their favourite superhero, or favourite book character. Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the Book Character Dress Up Parade!
